Project Details
The site is a 4-floor storey building, which was used as an office and the proposals were for the conversion of the upper floors of the building to residential use with the retention of office space at the ground floor level.
The site has been subject to previous planning applications which had been refused partly on highways grounds.
We advised on the site layout and suggested a strategy for managing the parking that separated the office parking from the residential. The strategy ensured that the proposals were in accordance with the ‘car free’ policies set out in the London Plan.

OUTCOME:
No issues were raised with our suggested approach and planning application was approved in July 2024 enabling the applicant to bring vacant floorspace back into use whilst contributing towards the housing supply.
