Project Details

The site accommodated a warehouse which had most recently been used as a tool-hire shop but was standing empty. The proposals involved changing the use of the building to a self-storage facility and adding extra floor space with ‘The Store Room’ identified as the end user.

We advised on the layout of the site by re-designing the car park to provide safe routes for pedestrians. Through sept path assessments, we also demonstrated that HGVs could use the turning areas. 

We produced a robust Transport Statement that supported the scheme and demonstrated that the proposed development was in accordance with planning policies.
