Project Details
Church Farm is a former agricultural unit located on the north-eastern edge of the village. The proposals were for the construction of 16 dwellings and were the subject of two planning applications; an outline followed by a reserved matters application.
The proposals represented a departure from the standard road layout as it echoed the surrounding village which operated either on a shared surface basis or with footways set back from the road, separated by grassy verges.
We advised on both applications, and our Transport Statement demonstrated that the layout provided safe and suitable access for all users and confirmed that the site could be accessed by the largest vehicles to visit it.


OUTCOME:
Both planning applications were approved, enabling this beautiful site to be brought forward, providing valuable homes for the people of Sandhutton.
