Project Details

The application site is in close proximity of the developing Wirral Waters scheme, which is one of the largest regeneration schemes currently underway in the UK. It is envisioned that it will attract people to Wirral Waters through its employment and hospitality offerings.

We provided advice on the layout of this food court site and undertook extensive engagement with highway officers with regards to the amount of car parking that was to be provided. 

Initially, officers requested a quantum of parking which would have resulted in a car dominated scheme, however through our negotiations, we agreed on a level of parking which was substantially lower than that required through parking standards. This enabled the layout to include additional outside space, thereby making for a more attractive venue and increasing the capacity of the venue.
