Project Details
The site sits adjacent to existing residential areas and the proposals involved constructing 90 houses which would be served by a new access junction off Orton Road.
We designed the access junction and ensured that the internal layout was designed to adoptable standards. We also ensured that the site could be accessed safely by pedestrians by identifying where additional footways were required.
OUTCOME:
The planning application was approved in December 2023 and according to Genesis Homes, the construction of Sandsfield Way will begin in February 2025, providing valuable homes for the people of Carlisle.
